For the Self Guided hiking tours we provide the following:

  • Printed Topo map of the routes in the area

  • Detailed information of the hike

    • Getting there​

    • Distance / average time

    • Points of interest

    • Hazards

  • Compass​

  • First Aid Kit

  • 10% Discount on any rental equipment for your hike

The following can be provided for an additional cost:

  • GPS / Satellite communication

  • Hiking poles

  • Hiking backpack

  • Folding camp chair

  • Thermos

  • Fire starting kit

​

We recommend you have the following:

  • Mosquito repellent

  • Long sleeve shirt / long trousers

  • Sturdy hiking boots

  • Plenty of water

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

​

All tours meet at Thorsen Lodge (address and map on the Contact page) where we try on equipment and discuss the day. The destination of the tour will be decided by your guide based on weather and participant abilities. There are many different locations and environments to explore so there is always something for everyone to enjoy!

​

Summer tours generally run from May - September but are dependant on conditions.
